Diver - Photographer
Weasel Loch - Eyemouth

This is a classic example of the diver-photographer, a female of the species, photographed in Weasel Loch near Eymouth. The female is much rarer than the male, although often it is she who is to be found in front of the camera, as in this case, acting out her natural role a model.

On the surface, both male and female will frequent the same territories, dive shops, photographic emporia and the natural home of most divers, The Pub. The shot was taken with a Nikonos IVa using SubaWider suplimentary wide angle lens, film was Kodak Elite 100ASA.

Nikonos V No flash was used, this is a purely natural light shot, from a depth of 10m looking straight up to the surface.
